IMMIGRATION OPTION:
If you are a Canadian citizen and a Medical Technologist but you are not going to be working in a “laboratory performing chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic or bacteriological tests and analyses for diagnosis, treatment or prevention of diseases” then you will not be able to enter the U.S. in TN status under the North American Free Trade Agreement. However, if you are a Medical Technologist and a Canadian citizen you can enter the U.S. to work as a medical technologist through the H-1b visa.
