How will the recent Visa Screen changes impact nonimmigrant healthcare petitioners?

What does the Free Trade Act for Chile and Singapore mean to healthcare immigration?

TOPICS

On July 25, 2003, the Department of Homeland Security issued the long-delayed regulation requiring visa screens for nonimmigrant healthcare petitioners. This regulation becomes effective September 23, 2003, but contains a waiver delaying implementation until July 24, 2004.  The panel will present an overview of the recent changes and discuss the potential ramifications as they relate specifically to nonimmigrant healthcare professionals.

The panel will also offer discussion on the changes relating to the Free Trade Act for Chile and Singapore and how these changes may present opportunities for nurses.
