H-1B's STILL AVAILABLE
The USCIS has reported that they have not yet reached the H-1b cap for next fiscal year or the U.S. Master's degree exception for this fiscal year. To date, the USCIS has received approximately half of the number of allotted H-1b's. HLG predicts that the cap will be reached within the next month and advises companies to file as soon as possible.

CHARITY SPOTLIGHT: BEADS OF COURAGE
HLG is proud to have its SF Bay Area attorney, Harlan Simon, involved in the 2005 roll out of this program at Children's Hospital in Oakland , CA . Harlan, who wears two hats both as an attorney and artisanal glass worker, is one of three Bay Area coordinators who supplies handmade glass beads to Oakland Children's Hospital. Beads of Courage is a unique research-based and validated program helping children cope with cancer.
