Steve joined
our firm in May 2002. Prior to this, he was a Partner in the global
public accounting and management consulting firm of Grant Thornton, LLP.
Steve received his Bachelor of Business Arts degree (B.B.A.) and his
Juris Doctorate degree (J.D.) both from the University of Wisconsin
(Madison). While at Grant Thornton, Steve co-chaired the firms South
Asian Consulting Practice and worked on global business matters for
numerous large multinational corporations.
Steve now focuses on immigration law and plays a central role in global
business development issues for the firm and its clients.
Steve is an avid, but below average, golfer, tennis player and skier.
Steve and his wife Amy Schur, have a young son, Herschel. Steve
regularly travels internationally and particularly enjoys travel to the
Middle East and India. When he has a moment, he can be found reading
books on world history and economic development, or playing "hide and go
seek" with Herschel.
