07/11/2005 HEALTHCARE IMMIGRATION ALERT:
In the last two weeks, three of HLG's west coast client-hospitals have let us know that they have been contacted by USCIS. In all of the situations the USCIS has indicated that they are conducting on-site audits of their Schedule A foreign-labor pool (i.e. Registered nurses and Physical Therapists). None of the audits have resulted in any punitive action. We urge all HLG clients to immediately contact us if they are contacted by USCIS so that we can prepare your facility accordingly.
