The USCIS reports that, as of Tuesday, May 23, 2006, 45,150 cap-subject H-1B visas have been received.

Based upon this latest update, the numbers are being used much more quickly than originally anticipated. Hammond Law Group predicts that the cap will likely be reached sometime next week, perhaps as early as Wednesday. Accordingly, if your company is considering filing for cap-subject H-1 workers, we urge you to contact your attorney immediately.
