1:00-2:30pm EST:
Live 90 Minute Phone / Web Conference
With Interactive Q &A
$225 per phone line/website access

SUMMARY:
Agents from the Department of Homeland Security are
actively pursuing companies that are not complying with
the immigration laws. Michael Chertoff, the head
of Homeland security, announced that his department now
will aggressively pursue asset forfeitures and criminal
charges against employers that are not in compliance
with immigration laws. He also is seeking Congress’
approval to review “no- match” lists maintained by the
Social Security Administration. Federal agents are
targeting not only direct employers but also
subcontractors.
• Are your immigration records in order?
• Have you received no match letters from the Social
Security Administration?
• Do you have procedures in place to protect your
company from civil and criminal sanctions?
• Are you responsible for the violations committed by
your subcontractors and staffing agencies?
These questions will be addressed by Sherry Neal,
Partner with the Hammond Law Group and David Montgomery,
the leader of Keating, Muething & Klekamp’s labor and
employment practice group. Sherry is a business
immigration attorney and the President of the Ohio
Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers
Association. David is licensed in Ohio, Georgia and
California and represents employers throughout the
