2/13/2006 IMMIGRATION ALERT:
NCSNB Confirms New
International Test Centers and Test Dates
As a follow-up to our February 3, 2006 Healthcare Immigration Alert, HLG
is pleased to confirm that the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)
has announced the locations and start date for their new international NCLEX
examination test centers. (The previous Healthcare Immigration Alert can be

The new test centers will be in Sydney, Australia; Toronto, Montréal, and
Vancouver, Canada; Frankfurt, Germany; Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad,
Bangalore, and Chennai, India; Mexico City, Mexico; and Taipei, Taiwan.
Chiyoda-ku, and Yokohama, Japan will be added to this list at a later date.
Test sites in London, England; Seoul, South Korea; and Hong Kong will also
remain open.
Appointments for testing will be taken beginning February 15, 2006 and
testing will begin on April 1, 2006. Appointments for the test sites in
Japan will be taken at a later date.
All candidates for the international NCLEX examination are required to first
apply to the state board of nursing in the state of intended licensure.
Candidates for the international NCLEX will be required to pay $150 in
addition to the usual $200 examination fee.
In addition, it was announced recently that the National Council of State
Boards of Nursing will be considering test centers in the Philippines. NCSBN
has not announced a time table for the Philippine test center(s).
