2/3/2006 IMMIGRATION ALERT:
NCLEX TO BE OFFERED IN MORE INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) announced that it will expand the number of international sites that offer the NCLEX examinations. The new locales include: Japan, Australia, Germany, India, Mexico, Canada, and Taiwan. The exact locations within each country have not been announced. Although no schedule of implementation has been set, it is expected that the new testing centers will be operational in the next year.

In January 2005, NCSBN began offering the NCLEX exam in London, England; Seoul, South Korea; and Hong Kong. Most testing centers are open a 6 day a week / twice per day exam schedule.
