INS WAIVES SPECIAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT FOR ADVANCE PAROLEES
INS General Counsel Bo Cooper has reconfirmed to the American
Immigration Lawyers Association that persons who last entered the U.S. under
an advance parole are not subject to call-in special registration. While
some local INS offices were already waiving the requirement for Parolees,
some were not.
