The following is a checklist of information that is required from the employer for the labor certification process. Please send the information listed below to the appropriate Hammond & Associates office location to the attention of your case attorney for review.

Information Required:

I. GENERAL

1) Job Title of the foreign national.

2) Current rate of pay of foreign national.

3) Start date of foreign national.

4) Has the foreign national held any other positions with your company and if yes, when?

5) What is the title of the foreign national's supervisor?

6) Who is responsible for paying the costs associated with the advertisement required?

II. ADVERTISEMENT

7) Were any advertisements ran or other recruiting efforts made before hiring the foreign national?
    (If yes, please send a copy of the ad(s).)

8) Have any advertisements ran or other recruitment efforts occurred for the
    same job title within the last six months?
    (If yes, please send a copy of the ad(s). )

NOTE: The labor certification process may be shortened by the use of advertisements already ran or by a procedure called "pre-filing recruitment". If you are interested, please let us know.

III. SUBSTANTIVE

9) Detailed description of the job duties to be performed.
    (If the job duties have changed since the filing of the H1B petition,
    disregard this request.)

10) Description of the minimum requirements necessary for any applicant to
      be considered for the job including the following:

NOTE: The DOL mandates that minimum requirements be utilized for the applicant and that the requirements not be tailored to meet the foreign national's resume.

C) Other specific related experience being as specific and technical as
    possible by listing all skills required prior to hire.

    Eg #1: COBOL, DB2, EXTRIEVE, etc.

    Eg #3: Research in the area of quantum physics and the principals of
              mathematical chaos as theory  as they relate to one another.
